Distillery is vegan, eco-conscious and allergy tested skin care range by Avon. It's their version of clean beauty and pure ingredients. The products are allergy, dermatologically and clinically tested as well as fragrance, alcohol, chemical SPF filter, mineral oil and essential oil free.
The range consists of 5 products - cleanser, day cream, night cream, vitamin C powder and facial oil. They all come in glass bottles or pots with a bronze top.
The cleansing balm is an award winning cleanser, it is super-hydrating and contains apricot oil, mango butter, cocoa butter and cucumber extract.
It's suitable for all skin types and gently melts off impurities or make up and creams off your skin.
I think it would be particularly suitable if you have sensitive skin or if you react / break-out to new products (powder, creams, sprays etc).
Instructions of use come with the glass pot... my recommendations are:
1. Add water to it and massage, it turns into a milky cleanser and washes off completely.
2. You don’t need a lot at all, a little goes a long way.
3. If you want to use a toner, AVON has the revitalising micellar water, the splash mask, the soothing micellar water or the vitamin C tonic (all great for sensitive skin). You can then use your day or night cream.
4. The latter two - soothing micellar water or the vitamin C tonic are the better options for sensitivie skin

I was surprised to see that it’s actually a gel-like texture. However, it makes sense for a night cream to be more dense. It’s also not instantly absorbed, but it really packs a punch in hydration. It claims a “48 hours hydration booster for glowing skin”. After a month of using it, it definitely makes skin feel plump, very soft and hydrated in the mornings.
The vitamin C shot, day cream and facial oil is also highly rated and completes the package.
Vitamin C is at its purest, most potent and effective in powder form. A pure shot of this vitamin C face powder to your moisturiser will leave you with brighter, more luminous looking skin. It also has added vitamin E for extra oomph. 1-2 sprinkles in your day and night cream does the job!
‘Shade the Day’ - 100% pure mineral sunscreen and 100% plant-based glycerine, this multitasking, mattifying moisturiser really does it all. And with distilled rose extract, it’s super-gentle on sensitive skin.
Purify facial oil - Renews the look of dull skin, made using a blend of 95% jojoba oil, vitamin E, phytol and cloudberry extract, it leaves your skin looking brighter & feeling revived. Apply a couple of drops after cleansing and before your cream.
I love that it comes in a beautifully presented gift box when bought as a pack. Vegan, clean beauty, friendly skin care is certainly the way to go!
